The fireworks display was one of the best yet and followed with a dance in the meadow with DJ Dave.

Recently we experienced a lightening strike with the flash causing this tree to split.
A single lightning event is a "flash" or an electric discharge between the atmosphere and an earth-bound object. Most ground to cloud flashes are only about one inch in diameter and "strike" in one physical location. Only About 25% of all lightning events worldwide are strikes between the atmosphere and earth-bound objects. The tree was located close to the maintenance shed, fortunately, there were no injuries or property damage. | | |  | Stacie's Story

I was one year old when I first went nude at the "Sun Meadow" nudist park in Tulsa Ok. We started Oak Lake Trails In 1992 when I was 8 years old. Boy, what a childhood my brother and I had. We helped my parents build the trails, raking leaves and moving rocks. I watched the building of the clubhouse, it was fun to watch all the kids slide on the black top when it rained. I always loved running through the woods with nothing on but my skin, I felt so free! Now my son is growing up in this lifestyle and he loves to run and play outside nude just like we did. It's a great feeling to be here where you can take off your clothes and be youself and everyone is ok with it. | | |  | Local News
The City of Stroud will be hosting the "Shop & Dine Local" event this Thursday.
Downtown stores will be open late, pop-up vendors, food, pony rides, checkers and coloring on the corner for children, live music and picnic tables.
The neighboring community boasts an estimated population of 2,690 people.
